Being focused

"Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever...it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything."
For me, photography is a way of seeing life. So many little moments pass us by every day and photography allows me to slow down, reflect, and capture those moments. Through the lens, I can focus in on beauty in the world that others sometimes miss or don't even notice. My passion for photography gives me the ability to shoot images that truly describe someone's personality, or the connection in relationships, whether this is between people, or less tangible subjects. Photography truly is “a way of feeling, of touching, of loving.” My photographs preserve these moments.

I graduated from Texas State University in 2011 with a BFA in Photography. I currently work in San Antonio and surrounding areas. I began my career with still life and nature photography, but after college I expanded my work to family portraiture. My work centers around capturing candid moments through the use of natural lighting.
